Josa Maule is the Founder and President of MSOPA.
Born and raised in Montreal, Josa's true passion has always been to be involved in the entertainment industry. It all started at the Negro Community Center spending many Saturdays in various workshops. At the age of eight, in her parents’ basement, she created, produced, and directed her two sisters and numerous cousins for family gatherings and charged admission.
Following her dream at age twenty-five, she founded MSOPA…, thirty years later
MSOPA is Montreal’s leading acting school and a respected force in Montreal's
growing acting community. Over thousands of students have participated in their
programs. Her continuing dedication to the arts and to her students has earned Josa respect and recognition in the acting industry. She has received awards for her contribution to the arts and community over the years.
This year she is a recipient of 2023 CBC Black Changemaker.
She is thankful to God for blessing her with the opportunity to wake up with joy every morning and acknowledges her parents, her sisters, extended family, friends, her teaching /administration staff and countless students for their unconditional love and support. www.msopa.com
